Let's Party!

It's party time here and I am doing the happy dance!! After what felt like tons of things moved and cleaned we were able to have open house on my parents home. It was a little tense waiting for the first interested party but it soon snowballed and we lost track after the fifth set toured the house. Now if we get half of them on the day of the sale I'll be happy. So to celebrate some of my friends decided to have a party.

I have these at the end of my hallway. I wanted a place to be able to enjoy them without being in the way so here they sit (for now).

This doll I bought at an auction for a mere 8 dollars and the highchair for 10 dollars. They just had to go home with me!!! I dressed her in clothes that were mine so she had something to wear until I find just the right dress for her. Someday.....

Time for Lemonade

 They say when life gives you lemons make lemonade, well I need a big glass right about now. I'm am on an emotional and physical overload.  It is crunch time in getting my parents home ready and help is just not there. Thank goodness for my kids , since due to my sister learning she has breast cancer help is little to none. I wish there was a way to help my sister and keep things on track at the same time. Open house is in 2 weeks and I need a miracle. Maybe after the sale I will be able to spend more time  getting my house in order to save my kids from they same pack rat syndrome my parents had.  One thing I learned is if you don't love or need it GET RID OF IT!!!
